To attain accurate transmission of driving force, prevention of abnormal noises, and improvement of durability by improving alignment of support shafts arranged between a pair of parallelly arranged base plates of a driving device, and improving flatness of the base plates.
A driving device is composed of a pair of parallelly arranged base plates 73, 74, a plurality of support shafts 75, 76, 77 for keeping spacing between the base plates 73 and 74 at a specified value, and driving members engaged with the support shafts 75, 76, 77. One end of each of the support shafts 75, 76, 77 is embedded in the first base plate 73 perpendicularly thereto, while the other is fitted to a hole formed on the second base plate 74, followed by positioning and fixation. Among the plural holes formed on the second base plate 74, the first hole represents reference hole tolerance. Other hole tolerances are so set as to sense embedment inclination of the support shafts 75, 76, 77.
