Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a light emitting display, a device in which the driving part is designed to run at low speed and in which a superior picture quality can be obtained free from unnatural luminance.
SOLUTION: In the light emitting display driving device that varies the luminance of a light emitting element by turning on or off a specific driving current or voltage supplied from a driving part to the light emitting element with the on/off signals from the driving device, a pixel reader which reads in at a frame period the luminance value of the light emitting element from a picture signal, and a ΔΣ modulator which operates at a sub-frame period of 1/nth of the frame period for the luminance value read in the pixel reader are provided, and the output of 1 or 0 from the ΔΣ modulator is outputted to the driving part as an on or off signal.
