Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a heat source while suppressing an increase of weight and cost.SOLUTION: A driving device 85 drives a switching element comprising a transistor using a high-heat-resistant semiconductor such as a silicon carbide. The driving device 85 includes a voltage adjustment unit 93 that can vary a driving voltage that is to be applied to a conduction control terminal of the switching element so as to bring the switching element into an on state. The voltage adjustment unit 93 applies a voltage in an active region of the transistor to the conduction control terminal as the driving voltage.
