Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a DC-AC converter to reduce cost and to make the device compact and lightweight.
CONSTITUTION: The output shaft of an alternating current motor 14 for moving a shutter curtain during normal operation, and the output shaft of a direct current motor 12 for moving the shutter curtain in a direction to close the curtain at the time when smoke is sensed, are connected to each other by a coupling 28. During normal operation, the shutter curtain is moved by the alternating current motor 14, and when smoke is sensed, driving of the alternating current motor 14 is stopped to move the shutter curtain in the direction in which the shutter curtain is closed by means of the direct current motor 12. Thus, since the alternating current motor 14 and the direct current motor 12 can be switched from each other to be used, there is no need for a DC-AC converter.
