Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of remarkably high power, capable of lowering the manufacturing cost in comparison with the other driving device.
SOLUTION: A driving device for a motive power unit comprises an internal combustion engine 3 having a crankshaft 5 connectable to a transmission input shaft 11 of a transmission 37 by a clutch 7 connected to its intermediate part, and an electrical mechanical device 13 mounted on a driving device 1 and comprising a stator and a rotor. The electrical mechanical device 13 is connected to the crankshaft 5 and (or) the transmission input shaft 11 through a reduction gear device 25 for reducing the rotating speed of the electrical mechanical device 13, and the reduction gear device 25 is formed as a planet gear device 27 comprising a sun gear, a hollow gear and several planet gears.
