Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to give excellent braking characteristics over the wide range of variation in the rotating speed of a motor by commonly connecting the emitter terminals of individual driving transistors and grounding them via an impedance element. CONSTITUTION:A signal is generated in an analog braking signal generator 2 by sensing the rotation of a motor 1, and is applied to a drivng circuit 8 through an amplifier 6. An exciting-phase selector 7 comprising three-state buffer gates GB1- GB4 is connected to the driving circuit 8. The emitter terminals of individual transistors Trs in the driving circuit 8 are commonly connected and grounded through a resistor RB. Therefore, the collector currents vary over the wide range of variation of the base currents of the transistors Trs, the magnitude of variation of the collector currents against those of the base currents are small, speed control is easy, and excellent braking characteristics can be obtained.
