Abstract:
To suppress the deterioration of energy efficiency during the switching of a traveling mode or transmission, in a driving device of a hybrid type vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving device 1 is equipped with an engine shaft 12, a generator shaft 14, a drive shaft 16, and a transmission mechanism 18. The engine shaft transmits power from an engine 2. The generator shaft transmits the power from the engine shaft to a first MG 4, and transmits power from the first MG to the engine shaft. The drive shaft drives front wheels 10. The transmission mechanism 18 changes the rotation speed of the engine shaft and transmits it to the drive shaft. The transmission mechanism includes a plurality of gear pairs, a selection mechanism 32, and a synchronizing mechanism 34. The plurality of gear pairs are configured with different gear ratios respectively. The selection mechanism engages with any one of the plurality of gear pairs, and transmits the power of the engine shaft to the drive shaft through any one of the plurality of gear pairs. The synchronizing mechanism is disposed between the selection mechanism 32 and at least one gear pair of the plurality of gear pairs, and synchronizes the gear pair with the selection mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
