Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a motor, reduce load applied to a shaft supporting means accompanied with high revolution, and enhance durability.
SOLUTION: This driving device is provided with an electric motor 2, the first and second shaft supporting means 24, 25 for supporting an electric motor shaft 22, a counter drive gear 23 comprising a helical gear on the motor shaft, and a counter driven gear 41 meshed therewith, and an output of the motor is transmitted to wheels via the both gears 23, 41. In arrangement wherein the counter drive gear is shifted to one side in a space between the both shaft supporting means, a torsion angle θ is set in a direction to make thrust force S act in the direction of the supporting means 25 distal from the gear. Load applied to the supporting means 24 proximal to the gear by a radial force R is reduced thereby by being offset with moment load by the thrust force, so as to correct load unbalance in the both shaft supporting means.
