To provide a driving element structure for an organic light emitting diode display which improves light emission efficiency and reduces leakage currents and a method for manufacturing the same.
The driving element structure has at least a glass substrate, a thin-film transistor (TFT), an intermediate layer, and a transparent conductive layer, among which the intermediate layer is formed above the glass substrate and covers the source and drain of the TFT. The intermediate layer is provided discretely with source and drain conduction contacts connecting the source and the drain. The transparent conductive layer directly comes into contact with the glass substrate and is electrically connected to the drain through the drain conduction contact. The transparent conductive layer is used as a pixel electrode.
