Abstract:

To provide a driving control device for generating maximum yaw moment when a vehicle makes a large steering angle turn at low vehicle speed.

The driving control device is configured to control the driving torque of the vehicle Ve and to give an optimum steering angle θ to steering wheels so that maximum yaw moment M is generated around the center of gravity P of the vehicle when the vehicle Ve turns at a predetermined steering angle or larger and at a predetermined vehicle speed or lower. Since driving torque output from driving wheels taking Ackerman steering geometry into consideration is controlled and the optimum steering angle θ is given, the minimum turning radius of the vehicle Ve can be reduced.
