Abstract:

To provide a driving force control device for a vehicle that has improved accuracy in estimating whether a driver has an intention to accelerate a vehicle based on an acceleration open degree.

A driving force control device for a vehicle which has a driving force control device engine for the vehicle and a transmission includes a control part 10 that sets a request driving force based on an operation amount of acceleration pedal 2 operated by a driver, and sets a target engine speed and a target transmission ratio according to the request driving force. The control part 10 detects an acceleration request operation based on the operation amount of the acceleration pedal 2, starts to change a transmission ratio of a continuously variable automatic transmission 30 when the acceleration request operation is detected, and stops changing the transmission ratio of the continuously variable automatic transmission 30 after estimating the completion of the acceleration request operation when time in which a differential value of the acceleration amount of the acceleration pedal 2 is negative continues during a specific time.
