Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device for a vehicle surely bringing a clutch in a non-contact state when the clutch is controlled so as to be off while the vehicle is stopping.
SOLUTION: This driving force control device for the vehicle consists of a motor 4, rear wheels 3L, 3R which are driven by the motor 4, and the clutch 12 inserted in a power-transmitting path between the motor 4 and the rear wheels 3L, 3R. The clutch 12 is engaged/disengaged by a mechanism which is controlled by operation of an electromagnetic clutch 106. When the clutch is controlled so as to be off during a stop of the vehicle, a holder 104 is switched from a fixed state relative to an outer ring member 101 to a release state by the electromagnetic clutch 106, then the motor 4 is stopped after the motor is rotated and driven in a reverse direction.
