Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a driving force control device for a vehicle by properly setting a fuel cut prohibiting time.
SOLUTION: The driving force control device for the vehicle has an engine driving conditions detecting means for detecting the driving conditions of an engine; a driving wheel rotation condition detecting means for detecting the rotation condition of driving wheels; a slip rate computing means for computing the slip rate based on the rotation condition; a torque-down signal output means for outputting a torque-down signal of the engine based on the slip rate; a torque-down control means for cutting fuel in a prescribed cylinder of the engine based on the torque-down signal, and a fuel cut prohibiting control means 45 for temporally prohibiting the fuel cut after the cutting of the fuel by the torque-down control means. The fuel cut prohibiting control means 45 sets a fuel cut prohibiting time corresponding to an actual fuel cut time and the prescribed time ratio when the actual fuel cut time is at least the prescribed value, and controls the fuel cut prohibiting time at a certain time when the actual fuel cut time is below the prescribed value.
