To assure driving force distribution control to ensure running/operating stability by continuing the torque generation of a second motor when turned under the condition where the total output of motors exceeds the upper limit output of a battery.
A vehicle comprises an engine 305 and a first motor 303 adapted to drive main driving wheels; a second motor 308 adapted to drive auxiliary driving wheels; a high rate battery 301 electrically connected to the first motor 303 and the second motor 308; and a driving force distribution control means for controlling the output of the first motor 303 and second motor 308 according to the running condition to bring a steer characteristic of the vehicle closer to a neutral steer. A driving force distribution control device is provided with an upper limit battery output setting means for setting the upper limit output of the battery according to the charge state of the high rate battery 301, and the driving force distribution control means imposes an output limitation on the first motor 303 out of the first motor 303 and the second motor 308 when the total output of the first motor 303 and second motor 308 exceeds the upper limit output of the battery.
