Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly absorb a torque variation occurring in failure in a driving force transmission device, and to enable reduction in the size and cost of the device.SOLUTION: The device is provided with an engine 11, motor generators 15 and 16, and a power distribution mechanism 17. The device is further provided with: a first driving force transmission path for drive-coupling the engine 11, the power distribution mechanism 17, and the motor generators 15 and 16; and a second driving force transmission path for drive-coupling the power distribution mechanism 17 and a driving wheel 13. The second driving force transmission path is provided with a torque limiter mechanism 18, and a shut-off torque value of a hybrid vehicle 10 in driving is set to be larger than the shut-off torque value in braking.
