Title:
DRIVING FORCE TRANSMITTING DEVICE FOR FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244293
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a driving force transmitting device for four-wheel drive vehicle capable of providing a high transmission torque with a small size and a light weight by pressing a multiple disk clutch by the pressing force by the pressure to the pressure receiving surface of a hydraulic pump in addition to the pressing force by a cam mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: An oil chamber 7 having a pressure receiving surface 31c is formed between a vane pump 3 and the stepped part 6c of a rotating shaft 6. When the transmission torque by the vane pump 3 is increased, a multiple clutch 4 is pressed in the connecting direction by the pressing force by the pressure acting on the pressure receiving surface 31c of the vane pump 3, in addition to the multiple disk clutch 4 being pressed in the connecting direction by the pressing force by a cam mechanism 5. Thus, a high transmission torque can be provided with a small size and a light weight. Since a high torque transmission, when required, is performed through the multiple disk clutch 4, the generation of a high pressure in the vane pump 3 is not required, a small-sized one can be used as the vane pump 3, and the driving force transmitting device can be further miniaturized.
