To resolve the generation of drag torque in a clutch device, in a driving force transmitting device provided with the clutch device in a driving force transmitting path coupling an electric motor with a wheel side in a driving device for front/rear wheel drive vehicles, and intercepting a coupling state of the driving force transmitting path by the clutch device while the electric motor is not driven.
The clutch device is composed of a first clutch that has an over-running function actuated only at the time of forward traveling of a vehicle to bring the driving force transmitting path to a coupling state, and a second clutch that does not have an over-running function actuated only at the time of backward traveling of the vehicle to bring the driving force transmitting path to a coupling state. A neutral state while the clutch device is not coupled is eliminated, thereby resolving the generation of the drag torque.
