To provide a driving force transmitting device capable of reducing a trailing torque between clutch plates at a low temperature and a high temperature.
The driving force transmitting device 1 is equipped with a housing 2 having an accommodation space 2a for a lubricating oil and rotating round the rotational axis O, an inner shaft 3 with its one end accommodated in the space 2a and arranged relatively rotatable with the housing 2, a main clutch 4 accommodated in the space 2a to couple the inner shaft 3 with the housing 2 in a way allowing torque transmission upon receiving a pressing force, a main cam 7a to give the pressing force to the main clutch 4, and a thermo-sensitive part 20 arranged facing the main cam 7a in the axial direction, deforming according to a temperature change from the middle temperature zone to a low temperature zone and a temperature change from the middle temperature zone to a high temperature zone and giving the main cam 7a a force in the direction of separating from the main clutch 4 within the low and the high temperature zone.
