An image of drive data recording line including the travel speed and travel distance of the vehicle recorded by the analog drive recorder and recorded in polar coordinate format on chart paper 14 is read in a computer main body 1 by an image scanner 2. The read drive data recording line in the polar coordinate format is transformed to an orthogonal coordinate format and the transformed drive data recording line in the orthogonal coordinate format are outputted for display or printing. The drive data including the travel speed and travel distance recorded at intervals of a unit time by the digital drive recorder are read in the computer main body 1 through a memory card 8 and a card reader 3.
