To increase the reliability of travel lane estimation.SOLUTION: A travel lane estimation system comprises: an image recognition unit that identifies a compartment line by image recognition in a captured image of a road on which a vehicle travels, captured by an image capturing unit mounted on the vehicle; and a travel lane estimation unit that estimates a travel lane of the vehicle based on an image recognition result of the compartment line in each of a plurality of regions having different positions in a longitudinal direction of the road, which is a direction in which the road extends, in the captured image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
