Abstract:
To provide a small driving machine with a long life.
This driving machine 1 comprises a housing 2, a motor 3 installed to the housing 2, a plunger 63 for driving nails, and a coil spring 62 extended or compressed by the motor 3 for accumulating elastic energy, and accelerating the plunger 63 by releasing the accumulated elastic energy. An irregular-pitch coil spring with a smaller spring constant at an end in a shrinking direction than a spring constant at a center in the shrinking direction is used as the coil spring 62 so as to enhance shock absorbing properties at both ends.
