To provide a driving mechanism of feed bar for transfer press which can make the structure of the mechanism simple and compact, and also can achieve high speed operation while assuring smooth operation of the mechanism as well.

Feed bars 10 arranged in a work transfer direction are driven at appropriate positions of the transfer press. A supporting base 12 supports and guides the feed bar 10 movably in the work transfer direction through a lift guide 15 and linear motors 29 are prepared between the feed bar 10 and the supporting base 12. Fixed parts of the linear motors 29 are arranged on the side of supporting base 12, while moving parts of the linear motors 29 are arranged on the side of feed bar 10, so that the feed bar 10 moves relatively to the supporting base 12 in the feed bar driving mechanism for transfer press.
