To provide a driving mechanism of simple construction for preventing the transmission of a vibration generated in a rotation driving source such as a motor to a driven body such as a camera.
When the motor 33 is driven to rotate an output shaft 40, a rotational member 35 is rotated. An elastic roller 45 is rotated in conjunction therewith for transmitting driving force to a power point 48 of a driven member 37. At this time, fine vibration generated in the motor 33 is absorbed by the roller 45 and damped and so the vibration to be transmitted to the driven member 37 is minimized. When the driving force is operated on the power point 48, the power point 48 is oscillated and the camera 31 fixed to an operation point portion 46 is oscillated in conjunction therewith. Since the vibration generated in the motor 33 is prevented from being transmitted to the camera 31, an image picked up by the camera 31 is free from oscillation.
