Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the energy consumption of an actuator at the time of holding by reducing a control gain after real displacement becomes a standstill.
CONSTITUTION: In the driving method of the actuator, which displacement- controls a mechanism with friction and holds a target value against the static load of gravity, a displacement command for the target value is given while the control gain is raised, and the control gain is reduced after real displacement is standstill. The holding limit of the target value is judged, and the control gain is reduced until it reaches the holding limit. Thus, internal friction force can be operated opposite to a direction that the load operates, the output of the actuator at the time of holding can be reduced and the energy consumption of holding current and the like can be reduced. The output of the actuator can securely be reduced to the holding limit and energy consumption can be reduced.
