Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for an electrophoretic display unit etc., that can reduce a decrease in operability and keep DC balance.SOLUTION: A driving method for an electrophoretic display unit includes the steps of: (a) displaying a first image in a first color at a display part by using a partial driving system (S10); (b) displaying the background of the first image in the first color at the display part by using the partial driving system (S30)); (c) displaying the background of a second image in a second color at the display part by using the partial driving system after the (b) (S50); (d) displaying the second image in the second color at the display part by using the partial driving system (S70); (e) executing (e1) and (b) (S110) when an operation part receives an indication input (S20: Y) in the period of (a); and (e2) displaying a third image at the display part by using a full-screen driving system (S120) after (e1).
