Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out an ultra low speed movement of a cylinder by filling electrolytic solution in a gas producing chamber which is provided adjacently to an oil chamber while being capable of swelling up, immersing a positive and a negative electrode in the solution, and thereby pressing working oil by means of gas produced by cell reaction.

CONSTITUTION: A free piston 22 is housed in the inside of a container 21 to form an oil chamber 23 and a gas producing chamber 24 to which working oil and electrolytic solution are filled in respectively, and a lubrication port 25 to be connected with a cylinder is provided for the end section of the oil chamber 23. In addition, an inner cylinder section 26 opened to the gas producing chamber 24 is provided for the other end of the oil chamber wherein a positive electrode plate 27, a negative electrode plate 28, a packing 29 and a screw shaft 31 are inserted. This thereby causes gas to be produced in the vicinity of the positive electrode 27 by means of cell reaction where both of the electrodes 27 and 28 are electrically connected with each other, and also causes the gas producing chamber 24 to swell up so as to press working oil in the oil chamber 23 so that the cylinder is thereby moved at an ultra low speed because of a small amount of gas generation.
