Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sluggishly changing characteristic of light emission luminance of a light emitting display panel when the light emission luminance of the panel is to be changed.
SOLUTION: Light emitting elements arranged on the light emitting display panel 1 are regulatedly driven and a normal direction voltage VF is obtained by a sampling and hold circuit 8. An output voltage VH of a driving voltage source 6 which comprizes a DC-DC converter is controlled by the voltage VF obtained by the circuit 8. For example, when the light emission luminance of the panel 1 is to be changed, the sampling and hold operation of the circuit 8 is executed with an interval which is shorter than a normal state by the control signals from a sample timing control circuit 9.
