Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a reflection type display device for suppressing a problem of an afterimage in rewriting of display in a display area with relatively high resolution such as a barcode display area, and preventing a reduction in energy efficiency in a display area with relatively low resolution such as a seven segment display area.SOLUTION: In a display rewriting step, a drive sequence for high resolution display is used to a display area with relatively high resolution, and a drive sequence for low resolution display different from the drive sequence for high resolution display is used to a display area with relatively low resolution.
