A vibratory conveyor driving method includes a linear trough, a supporting means to support it with possibility of vibrating, and an excitation source to vibrate the trough, wherein as a drive command, the excitation source is fed with a speed command, position command and acceleration command, one or a plurality thereof, so that an exciting force conforming to the drive command(s) is given to the trough. In this conveyor driving method, the speed command has a speed difference between the forward motion and return motion of the trough the position command and acceleration command are obtained by expanding into Fourier series to integrate and to differentiate the Fourier series, respectively.
