Title:
DRIVING POSITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57134349
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve operation performance by permitting the positions of seats and of a mirror to be automatically adjusted at the suitable positons by inserting into a reading means magnetic cards etc. on which the data of the positions of seats and of the mirror peculiar to each driver are recorded magnetically.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic card reader 10 is installed on the instrument panel in front of a diriver's seat, and information magnetically recorded on the magnetic card 10a which each driver carries can be read. This information is the data showing the positions of a mirror and seats peculiar to each driver and the read information is sent into a computer 11. The computer 11 corrects the data from position sensors 19W21 with the correction constants corresponding to the code signals generated in a digital switch group 23, and compares the corrected data with the data read by the card reader 10. The actuators 16W18 for adjusting the positions of seats and of the mirror in accordance with the results of comparison described the above are driven through driving circuits 13W15.
