Abstract:
To provide a driving support device and a driving support method capable of improving accuracy of driving support.SOLUTION: A driving support device 10 comprises an acquisition unit 11, a first state estimation unit 12, a second state estimation unit 13, and a driving support unit 14. The acquisition unit 11 acquires biological information of a user. The first state estimation unit 12 estimates a first state indicative of whether the user is in a state which hinders driving, on the basis of the biological information. The second state estimation unit 13 estimates a second state indicative of whether the user himself or herself is aware of the first state, on the basis of the biological information.
