When the averaged value of the brightness is higher than a specified threshold, the contrast of the pixels corresponding to the predicted advancing route in the imaged pictures is lowered and displayed on the monitor screens S605, S607, and when it is lower, the contrast of the pixels corresponding to the predicted advancing route in the imaged pictures is raised and displayed on the monitor screens S606, S607. Thus the imaged pictures and the predicted advancing route can be viewed separately from each other, and a part of the imaged picture can be prevented from being hidden by the display of the predicted advancing route.
