To provide a driving support device which notifies a driver of a method for performing low fuel consumption drive.
The driving support device notifies the driver of a vehicle of the method of driving which becomes a low fuel consumption drive state, and includes: a control part 2 which generates, when it is determined as a high fuel consumption drive state based on history of vehicle information from a sensor group, low fuel consumption drive instruction information which is the instruction information to become the low fuel consumption drive state based on the history of the vehicle information; and a control part 2 which notifies the driver of the vehicle of the low fuel consumption drive instruction information generated by the control part 2, wherein the control part 2 generates the low fuel consumption drive instruction information regarding an operation which the driver can directly control regarding the vehicle.
