Abstract:
To provide a drive support device capable of properly supporting passing-through between an own vehicle and the other vehicle.SOLUTION: An ECU support part determines whether a support execution condition is established or not on the basis of at least a passing possible width obtained by excluding a vehicle width of the other vehicle from a road width of a road which an own vehicle passes. A passing possible width to establish the support execution condition for supporting passing-through with the other vehicle due to advancement at a backing time of the own vehicle is set larger than a passing possible width to establish the support execution condition for supporting passing-through with the other vehicle due to backing at an advancing time of the own vehicle. The support part changes a passing possible width to establish the support execution condition so as to be larger as a vehicular gap between the own vehicle and the other vehicle is larger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
