Abstract:
To provide a driving support device that guarantees the comprehensiveness of driver categorization and realizes an effective support to any drivers.SOLUTION: A model memory unit 17 memorizes an event categorization model and a driver categorization model. The event categorization model is created by categorizing event data in a data-driven manner with respect to at least one of the accidents and near misses collected of a plurality of drivers. The driver categorization model is created by categorizing, in a data-driven manner, event type distribution that represents frequencies in which each of a plurality of event types included in the event categorization model created for each driver appears during driving. A control unit 18 identifies a driver type to which the driver belongs and sets an event of a support target using the event categorization model and the driver categorization model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
