Abstract:
To provide a driving support display method and a driving support display device capable of providing appropriate information to an occupant.SOLUTION: A driving support display device includes: an object detection device 1 for detecting another vehicle running around a user's own vehicle; a periphery image generation unit 15 for generating a periphery image showing a region including the user's own vehicle, viewed from the sky behind the user's own vehicle or from the sky ahead of the user's own vehicle; a positional relation detection part 12 for detecting a relative position between the user's own vehicle and another vehicle running around the user's own vehicle; an approach detection part 13 for determining whether another vehicle frames in or frames out for the periphery image from a temporal change in the relative position; and an image composition part 16 for displaying a support image showing another vehicle in different display forms between when another vehicle is determined to frame in for the peripheral image, and when another vehicle is determined to frame out for the peripheral image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
