Abstract:
To provide a train operation support system which utilizes a regenerative electric power generated by a decelerating train that is traveling, as a driving power of a power-running train, without generating a delay of the power-running train in departure from a station.SOLUTION: An operation support system comprises a first on-board device installed in at least one stopping train, a second on-board device installed in at least one traveling train and a ground side device to communicate information with the first and second on-board devices via transmission lines. The ground side device generates a deceleration pattern of the traveling train based on power running beginning information of the stopping train acquired by information received from at least the first on-board device and transmits the pattern to the second on-board device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
