Abstract:
To provide a driving support system capable of improving the convenience of a driver.SOLUTION: The driving support system includes: a driving support device which can be installed on an own vehicle and which has development section for developing positional information concerning positions of the own vehicle, a notification section for notifying a driver of the information and a first communication section; a server which has a storage section for storing a first database in which a plurality of track data showing a plurality of tracks of vehicle positions are stored, a processing section for creating a first driving route on the basis of the first plurality of track data stored in a first period using the first database and creating a second driving route on the basis of the second plurality of track data stored in a second period, and a second communication section. The processing section or the driving support device executes fault detection processing for detecting a fault on the basis of a difference between the first and the second driving routes. The notification section notifies a driver of fault information concerning a fault.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
