Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving system and a driving method capable of assisting a person's standing movement in a stable manner.SOLUTION: The driving system includes: a support unit for supporting part of a user's superior limb; a driving unit for moving the support unit along a path which contains at least an element of a vertical direction relative to a floor face; a first measurement unit for obtaining a first measurement value by measuring a force applied to the support unit; and a control unit for driving the driving unit when the first measurement value exceeds a prescribed threshold.
