Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving transistor for a horizontal oscillation transistor which can reduce switching loss in the horizontal oscillation transistor.
SOLUTION: In the driving transistor for the horizontal oscillation transistor, a primary side coil and a secondary side coil where the number of winding is smaller than that of the primary side coil are connected by a ferrite core, and an almost rectangular pulse based on a horizontal synchronizing signal inputted from the primary side coil is amplified, and outputted from the secondary side coil to the base of a horizontal oscillation transistor. The coil of the secondary side coil which is thicker than the coil of the primary side coil is wound around the winding core of the bobbin type ferrite core, and the coil of the primary side coil is wound around the outside of that. Thus, the order of winding of the coils 21 and 22 around a winding core 10c of a driving transformer HDT is optimized so that extraction currents to be inputted to the base of the horizontal oscillation transistor can be increased. Therefore, it is possible to shorten a storage time in the horizontal oscillation transistor without increasing costs.
