To obtain a small-sized lightweight drive unit of simple structure without using planatery gears in the driving unit of the so-colled hybride vehiclen which is driven by two kinds of power sources, i.e., an engine and a battery and a motor.

An input rotor 16 driven by an engine, an output rotor 30 coupled with an output shaft, and a stator 34 fixed to a case are installed. A first motor generator 32 is consituted between the input rotor 16 and the output rotor 30. A second motor generator 36 is constituted between the output rotor and the stator. The output shaft can be driven by supplying at least electric power generated by the first motor generator 32 to the second motor generator 36.
