To form a driving unit so that the number of units for cooling a reduction gear is reduced or at need, so that the number of units for cooling other device of a fixed or movable unit is reduced by using a medium, which is used for cooling a vehicle, as the operating fluid.
In the condition that a brake is operated, a gear 11 and a pinion 9 are rotated so as to be connected to each other. Torque is transmitted from a transmission shaft 10 to a rotor impeller shaft 6. In the case where a reduction gear 100 is filled with the medium, which is used for cooling a vehicle, since temperature rises at the time of operating brake, it is necessary to cool the operating fluid such as oil. Energy change at the time of operating a brake is performed through an oil-water-heat exchanger, which is assembled in a cooling system of a vehicle. Namely, a water side of the heat exchanger 12 is connected to a vehicle cooler 13, and an oil side of the heat exchanger 12 is connected to an inlet and outlet passage of a stator impeller 3.
