Title:
DRIVING WHEEL DIFFERENTIAL JOINT EMPLOYING HYDRAULIC PRESSURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3168272
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent differential characteristics by a simple structure by providing two coaxial gears while being spaced by a partition plate, letting each small gear be meshed with the aforesaid gears respectively, and letting the respective gears be functioned as a hydraulic pump/a hydraulic motor in filled-up oil.
SOLUTION: Driving force from a large bevel gear 4 causes small gears 3A and 3B over the satellite orbits of coaxial gears 2A and 2B to be rotated over their orbits through a main body 1A. In this case, if loadings of two pairs of gears which are meshed with each other while being spaced by a partition plate 6 are identical, hydraulic pressures generated are mutually canceled, and the main body 1A is thereby integrally rotated together with the gears 2A and 2B, and the small gears 3A and 3B. Meanwhile, if the gear 2A at one side is stopped through the driving wheel, the small gear 3A itsself is rotated over its orbit, so that hydraulic pressure is thereby generated. The aforesaid pressure is acted on the gear 2B and the small gear 3B so as to allow these to be functioned as a gear motor, and thereby the gear 2B is rotated at the increased speed. Besides, since oil flow is obstructed by a valve within the partition plate, differential torque can thereby be restrained.
