Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the vehicle in the caption to maintain its specified, turning performance well when wheels are worn by forming the cross section of each wheel which is rotated by a drive shaft penetrating a steering shaft through a bevel gear and the like, thereby satisfying specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:Steering shafts 2 are rotatably mounted on the four corners of the body of a vehicle 1. A wheel 13 is rotated by a vehicle shaft 6 driven by a drive shaft 3 penetrating the steering shaft 2 through each bavel gear 4, 5. The wheel 13 is installed such that it touches the ground at the place shifted sideward from the steering shaft 2. In the above constitution, the cross section of the wheel 13 is formed such that the corresponding relation of the ratio of the number of teeth of each bavel gear 4, 5 with the ratio of the distance R from the center of the steering shaft 2 to that of the surface of the wheel 13 touching the ground is maintained if the wheel 3 is worn. The cross section shape is attained for example by shaping one side of the wheel 13 in a taper shape of a specified angle.
