To surely hold anode scrap on a slide rail surface and to prevent the anode scrap from skidding and popping up by providing irregularities on a slide rail surface of a drop conveyer of an anode scrap packing machine.
When an anode scrap 1 is carried downward on the surface of a slide rail, irregularities having such a dimension that the anode scrap 1 is not slid off by the dead weight and slid downward along the fixing attachment 16 of the drop conveyer 9. The dimension and the shape of the irregularities are not prescribed indiscriminatingly, however, in a general anode scrap 1 generated by copper electrolytic refining, for example, notches of the width 2 mm and the depth 2-3 mm are provided at intervals of 5 mm on a slide rail surface so that the skid and pop-up of the anode scrap 1 can be surely prevented.
