Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable to drop in the tone arm on an arbitrary position on the record disc, by releasing the drive of tone arm when the size cam is selected to the manual position.
CONSTITUTION: On the way of lead-in operation, when the size selection knob for the record disc is set to the manual position, the size set cam 63 brings the latch notch 68 to the position where it collides with the restriction cam piece 60 of the size reset lever 55. The clutch cam 95 is inverted with the lead-in release pin 58 stopped and it can not move the arm drive pin 53 any more. Thus, since the tone arm 132 is stopped to be free, the reproducing needle can be operated for drop-in on arbitrary position of the record disc.
