The droplet discharging apparatus forming a pattern of a desired shape on a substrate to be treated by discharging a liquid material containing a pattern forming material has a plurality of droplet discharging heads 34 arranged in the direction crossing the flow direction of the substrate, maintenance units 100, 110, and 120 repairing every prescribed number of the droplet discharging heads 34, an inspection part 64 inspecting the pattern, and a control part 150 controlling each unit 100, 110, or 120. Each unit is arranged movably in relation to the droplet discharging heads 34. The control part 150 controls each unit to repair the droplet discharging heads 34 on the basis of the output of the inspection part 64.
