To provide a dross recovering method and a dross recovering device, by which the oxidation of a metal in the dross is restrained and the load in the recovering work is lightened by releasing the worker from the intense heat.
A compressing dross squeezing part 17 for the dross collected beforehand into a melting furnace hole has a frame structure constituted of a vertical porous plate 18 arranging many holes 18a penetrated toward the melting furnace 2 side, a vertical pushing plate 19 faced to the porous plate 18 and one pair of vertical side plates 20, 21 interposing the porous plate 18 and the pushing plate 19, and opened in the upper and the lower parts and slidingly arranging the pushing plate 18 between the side plates 20, 21. Further, this recovering device is constituted so as to be vertically movable and freely movable forward/backward to/from the melting furnace 2 and the compression is executed to the dross beforehand collected to the melting furnace hole with the pushing plate 19 and the porous plate 18 to squeeze out the metal from the holes 18a, 19a. This compression of the dross is executed to the dross beforehand collected to the melting furnace hole.
