Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dross removal device which can securely remove dross adhered to a work support and has a small workload.SOLUTION: A dross removal device (1) removes dross adhered to a work support (2) of a laser beam machine on which plural plates are set up in parallel by longitudinal movement of the device (1) along the upper edge parts of respective plates. The dross removal device (1) is equipped with a guide part (18) for guiding the device (1) along the upper edge parts of respective plates, and plural needles (14) which reciprocate in vertical direction so as to remove dross. Further, the dross removal device (1) has a chisel (10) which is provided above the guide part, and an operation handle part (4) which is gripped by an operator to operate the dross removal device. The guide part has an inner surface in a cross section laterally to a cross direction which is a substantially horseshoe-shaped cylindrical shape opened downwards, and an opening (22) on the upper wall thereof into which said plural needles are inserted.
