Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a medicinal composition which contains L-ascorbic acid and 5,6-O-benzylidene-L-ascorbic acid and has anticancerous activity. CONSTITUTION: This objective composition is obtained by using L-ascorbic acid or its salt, 5,6-O-benzylidene-L-ascorbic acid, 5,6-O-benzylidene-L-ascorbic acid deuterated in the 1-position of the aldehyde group in the benzylidene segment and its salt and formulated to tablets, capsules, dust, injection solution, intravenous drip solution, suppository and the like. The amounts of L-ascorbic acid and 5,6-O-benzylidene-L-ascorbic acid are 0.1-20wt.%, respectively.
